Ms Janice Chuah, is the founder and CEO of Concept Math as well as a curriculum specialist. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and a Masters degree in Instructional Design (M.A, IDT). Prior to setting up Concept Math, Janice was a primary school teacher for ten years. During that period, her passion and dedication had won her numerous awards including the prestigious School Caring Teacher, MOE Outstanding Contribution and Best Teacher gold medalist.
Sharing her expertise, Janice contributed articles on teaching and learning in MOE’s publications and conducted workshops for cluster schools, at Teacher’s Network and MOE EXCEL Fest.
The last few years had seen Janice gaining some international work experience. She secured an overseas work attachment through MOE, where she worked as a curriculum consultant to Singapore International School in Shanghai, China. More recently, she was invited by Victory Christian International School in the Philippines for a 3-day workshop where she shared on Singapore Math and model drawing.
