P1-P3 Math Tuition for Early Learners

My child has been attending classes in Concept Math Novena since Pri 1. I am grateful for all her teachers. This year Pri 4, with Teacher Victor, the results have been amazing for her WA2 ( AL1). Teacher Victor's teaching style is patient, engaging, and tailored to my child's learning needs. He ensures that my child understands every lesson, which has boosted their confidence and grades. Thank you for ensuring my child keeps improving and maintains good grades .

My child has been attending Concept Math since Primary 2, and she’s now in Primary 3. We have the flexibility of online and in-person classes which suited our limited logistic resources. We’ve seen a noticeable improvement in her confidence and understanding of math concepts. She recently did very well in her school’s weighted assessment, and we believe the structured lessons and supportive teaching here played a big part in that. The teachers are patient, knowledgeable, introduce new learning methods (which wowed me!) and make learning engaging. Highly recommend this class for parents looking to build a strong math foundation for their child.

Concept Math’s curriculum and clear explanations have helped both my children grasp various topics more easily since lower primary, building a strong foundation for their learning. The e-classroom has also been a valuable tool for revision, reinforcing key concepts effectively. Their teachers are responsible and proactive in monitoring and supporting their learning progress. Overall, Concept Math has greatly boosted my children’s confidence in mathematics!

Zoanne enjoys the weekly math lessons in Concept Math. Guided by Teacher Victor, she is able to effectively grasp the mathematical concepts and methods and apply them to different questions. The online resources that include recap class videos are extremely helpful. The booster worksheets that she works on independently further boost her confidence in each topic. We have been with Concept Maths since my child started primary 1. This is our 4th year with Concept Math and we are very pleased with the school's syllabus, their structured approach on teaching concepts, benefitting children, and even to parents. Their SMART approach, entailing simplifying questions, drawing emphasis on teaching concepts (without memorising), drawing model diagrams, analysing, resolving and testing the concepts are structured and have benefitted my child. They start teaching drawing model diagram since in Primary 1 and till date, my child in Primary 4 is confident in drawing models to break down complex questions, understanding concept to resolve them. What stands out is, the school makes a conscious effort to spend 10mins after every class to brief the parents on what was taught for every lesson, how we can adopt and teach our children. They have regular reviews (worksheets, workshops) throughout the year, to ascertain the improvement sections where your child needs help in. My child is coping well and I have also enrolled my second child in Concept Math. This is a testament of the tangible results that Concept Maths offers to the students. You can do trial lessons with them. All the best!

Thanks to Concept Math, my boy scored full marks for his year end math assessment test last year! I wasn't even aware until another mum asked me which tuition centre I send my boy to, because she heard he had full marks. I'm genuinely very impressed by how systematic and well-organised the school is run. They have a debrief for parents to sit in after every class, so we're kept up to speed on what our children are learning. That way, we're better equipped to guide our children at home. If we miss a lesson, besides in person replacement class, we're also given the option to attend via zoom, or watch a replay. That is very helpful because we can watch the replay at a time convenient for us. I have seen my son sit through the replay lessons quietly, paying attention because the lesson is engaging. My son also likes his teacher, Teacher Jeslyn, who is very good with the kids!

Both my daughters are students of Concept Math from primary 1. While I have no basis of comparison vs other math enrichment facilities, I can only say that both my girls and us (parents) are extremely comfortable with the curriculum and teachers of Concept Math. From my observation of my daughters doing their math problems, I can see them approaching each question in a very logical and methodical way, as taught to them in Concept Math. The teachers are both patient and dedicated and the parents debriefs offer us parents the opportunity to appreciate how our girls are taught. I would recommend Concept Math to all parents who want their kids to grasp the fundamental and essence of Math.
